Choosing an Ernest Sports launch monitor

Every unit in the range measures ball flight with Doppler radar, and every one is built in the USA and covered by a one year warranty. What separates them is how much they measure, and whether they are built for the range or for a room.

Launch monitors

The ESB1 at $199.99 captures six metrics and shows them on its own screen, so you can practise without a phone. The ESB2 at $349.99 adds club path, face angle, apex and descent angle, which is the difference between measuring a miss and understanding it. Both run twenty hours on a charge.

The Tour Plus 2.0 at $999.99 is a different class of instrument: two high-speed infrared cameras and four 3D Doppler sensors across twenty data points, including spin axis and hang time. It also drives E6 Connect, so it doubles as a simulator.

Simulators

The ES Eagle Sim mounts overhead and captures the swing from above, showing shaft lean, club path and true swing plane at once. It is quoted per installation because mounting and commissioning vary by facility.

Software and accessories

E6 Connect licences unlock indoor course play on the Tour Plus 2.0 and Eagle Sim. Replacement batteries and power adapters are stocked for every current unit.
